Frequent Asked Questions

How big are the groups?

Students have the flexibility to choose from a range of sessions across the week, therefore our class sizes are flexible, not fixed, to ensure personalised attention for every student. In instances where class sizes grow, we bring in additional tutors from our team as teaching assistants. Their role is to provide support, answer questions, and ensure every student receives the individual help they need. Typically, we start incorporating teaching assistants when the class reaches around 10 students.

What exam boards do you cover?

We cater to GCSE AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IGCSE Edexcel & Cambridge, for Triple and Combined Science

How long does the course last?

There is a huge amount of content to cover in Science, therefore we do not recommend short courses. Our courses are always scheduled to continue until your final exams.

What is the minimum term commitment?

The course requires a minimum commitment of three months, as this duration is essential for ensuring noticeable progress. Following this period, the majority of students opt to stay on until their final exams to steadily enhance their skills, maximising their chances of success. Nevertheless, after the initial three-month phase, you have the flexibility to pause or cancel your participation if necessary.

Do students have to have their cameras on?

Students aren't required to turn on their cameras, but active participation throughout the session is essential. Many students prefer to interact using the chat box, which serves as an excellent tool for tracking individual progress and providing tailored written feedback.

Who will be conducting the lessons?

The sessions are conducted by various members of Sarah's team, with Sarah overseeing all programmes as the Lead Instructor. Each tutor plays a unique role, facilitating group lessons and playing to their strengths by teaching in their subject specialism.

Every tutor on our team is a fully qualified teacher, boasting a minimum of five years of tutoring experience and a track record of remarkable student achievements.

Our mentors are university students who excelled in their GCSE science subjects and are currently pursuing degrees in various scientific disciplines. Our students find their support and guidance a very beneficial contribution to their progress.
